Manchester City Defeats Real Madrid, Arsenal Maintains Perfect Record
Manchester City secured a crucial victory against Real Madrid, defeating them 2-1 in a high-stakes match at the Santiago Bernabéu. This defeat has intensified the ongoing crisis for the Spanish club and may have significant implications for manager Xabi Alonso, whose position has reportedly come under scrutiny after this Champions League encounter.

Athletic Bilbao earned a valuable point against Paris Saint-Germain with a goalless draw, while Bodo/Glimt managed to hold Borussia Dortmund to a 2-2 draw in a thrilling encounter. Dortmund had twice taken the lead through Julian Brandt, only for Bodo/Glimt to respond with goals from Haitam Alesami and Jens Hauge.
Napoli faced setbacks after losing 2-0 to Benfica in Lisbon, with Richard Rios and Leandro Bareiro shining for the Portuguese side. In the Bundesliga, Bayer Leverkusen and Newcastle played to a 2-0 draw, while Copenhagen triumphed over Villarreal with a 3-2 victory. Additionally, Karabakh, featuring Marko Janković, suffered a 4-2 defeat against Ajax, marking Ajax’s first points of the tournament.
