A significant theft occurred in Vogosća, Bosnia and Herzegovina, when criminals stole a total of 110,000 KM from a private safe during the night of November 24-25, 2023. The stolen amount included 70,000 KM and 22,000 EUR. According to the local news portal Klix, law enforcement quickly apprehended the suspects involved in this crime.

The brothers Elvira and Zijad Jusufović, both from Ilijaš, along with their accomplice Senad Dervišević, are now facing serious charges. They are colloquially referred to as the “Dalton Brothers,” drawing a comparison to fictional characters known for their criminal exploits. Following their arrest, the Municipal Court in Sarajevo has ordered a one-month detention for the suspects at the request of the Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo Canton.

Police investigations led to a search of the apartment used by the suspects in Ilijaš, where authorities recovered a portion of the stolen money and some other items believed to be linked to the crime. The detention was recommended due to concerns that the suspects might tamper with evidence or potentially commit further offenses if released.

This incident highlights ongoing issues related to crime and security in the region. Authorities are working to address these challenges while ensuring that justice is served in this particular case.
