In response to the incident, Prime Minister Milojko Spajić announced a temporary suspension of the visa-free regime with the Republic of Turkey. Additionally, Danilo Šaranović, the Minister of Internal Affairs, indicated that a stricter Foreigners Act would soon be introduced.
