Community Markets and Prom Fest Bring Festivity to Morecambe

The vibrant community of Morecambe is set to celebrate with the return of its community markets and the lively Prom Fest music festival. These events promise to bring local food, artisan gifts, and live entertainment to the heart of the town, making them ideal for families and festive shoppers alike.
The first Morecambe community market is scheduled for September 27, 2025, from 10:00 to 17:00. Stalls will be located on Market Street, Euston Road, New Town Square, and Victoria Street, offering a variety of local products and crafts. Another market will take place on December 20, 2025, at the same times. Visitors can also benefit from free parking in Lancaster City Council car parks, excluding the railway station, which adds convenience for those looking to enjoy a day out.
Families can look forward to activities such as face painting and other entertainment options aimed at children, ensuring a fun day for all. Updates about the festive community markets can be found by following Morecambe BID on Facebook.
Prom Fest Brings Music and Community Spirit
In conjunction with the markets, the Prom Fest music festival will take place from September 26 to 28, 2025. This celebration, organized by local pubs and bars, highlights Morecambe’s vibrant music scene and independent venues. Over the course of the weekend, multiple locations will host a range of performances, from intimate acoustic sessions to full-band concerts and DJ sets.
Prom Fest aims to foster community spirit and showcase the diverse talents of local musicians. Attendees can expect an exciting lineup of entertainment, making it a must-visit event for both residents and visitors. For more information, interested individuals can check the Prom Fest September 2025 page on Facebook.
As Morecambe gears up for these events, both locals and tourists are encouraged to participate in the festivities, which promise to create lasting memories and support the local economy.
