Mike Wolfe, the well-known host of the reality series American Pickers, and his girlfriend, Leticia Cline, are recovering following a serious car accident in Columbia, Tennessee. Both were hospitalized over the weekend after the incident, which left Wolfe’s blue Porsche severely damaged.

Wolfe, 60, shared updates on social media, expressing gratitude for the support he and Cline have received. On Saturday, he posted a photo of the wreckage on Instagram, stating, “It’s been a rough nite [sic] but there’s light at the end of the tunnel.” He emphasized the importance of prayers, thanking followers for their well-wishes. In a later post, Wolfe confirmed, “By the grace of God, we’re both safe and okay. Leticia is still in the hospital; she is expected to make a full recovery.”

Cline, who is enduring a more challenging recovery, provided details of her injuries on her own Instagram account. She revealed that she had suffered a broken jaw in multiple places, along with broken ribs, a sternum injury, a collapsed lung, and significant swelling on her spine. Cline noted that her “mouth will be wired shut” as part of her treatment.

While Wolfe has since been discharged from the hospital, he has remained by Cline’s side. Cline shared a touching image of Wolfe asleep in a chair next to her hospital bed, demonstrating his commitment during this difficult time. In another update, she showed herself walking around the hospital with assistance from her sister, captioning the post, “Got up and walked around today thanks to sis.”

Wolfe and Cline have been dating since 2021. Before their relationship, Wolfe was married to Jodi Catherine Wolfe, with whom he shares a daughter, Charlie, who is now 13 years old. Wolfe is best recognized for his role on American Pickers, a series he co-created, which first aired on the History Channel in 2010. The show chronicles his adventures as he travels across the United States in search of unique artifacts to sell at his antique shops.

Wolfe previously co-hosted the show with Frank Fritz, who passed away in October 2022 at the age of 60 due to complications from a stroke. Reflecting on their friendship, Wolfe stated, “I’ve known Frank for more than half my life… Frank had a way of reaching the hearts of so many by just being himself.” Fritz had stepped away from the show in 2020 after his health issues, and was replaced by Wolfe’s brother, Robbie.

As of August 2023, American Pickers has completed its 27th season and is awaiting news on whether it will be renewed for another season. Wolfe and Cline’s recovery process will undoubtedly be a focus for fans of the show and their followers as they navigate this challenging chapter in their lives.
