Record of Ragnarok Season 3 Set to Premiere on December 10, 2025
The highly anticipated third season of *Record of Ragnarok* will debut on Netflix worldwide on December 10, 2025, following a two-year wait since the release of the second season. This installment continues the thrilling narrative based on the manga by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui, centering around a fierce combat tournament between gods and historical figures.
The announcement was made alongside the release of the third official trailer, which offers fans a glimpse of the upcoming intense battles. The trailer also introduces the new opening theme tune, titled “Dead Or Alive,” performed by the renowned Japanese rock band GLAY.
What to Expect in Season 3
As with previous seasons, the upcoming episodes will feature a formidable lineup of characters, including Nikola Tesla, voiced by Makoto Furukawa, King Leonidas (Hiroshi Shirokuma), Hades (Ryotaro Okiayu), Beelzebub (Daisuke Namikawa), and Nostradamus (Shun Horie). In this gripping 13-round competition, the gods and legendary figures will face off in a mortal versus divine death match. The first side to secure seven victories will earn the right to rule the world for 1,000 years.
The announcement of the third season took place in March 2023, with Umemura expressing gratitude for the fans’ support in bringing this season to fruition. He stated, “I can’t wait to see how that one move by Nikola Tesla appears on screen! I hope everyone will continue to watch *Record of Ragnarok*!”
Fukui added, “Much time has passed since the explosive ending to the second season. Thanks to the support of our fans, the third season is finally here! How will that fiery battle we depicted in the comic be recreated? Familiar characters will cross paths again. I can’t wait for everyone to see the continuation of the battle between gods and humanity!”
