Traffic disruptions are expected across several key routes in Montenegro due to ongoing roadworks and the filming of the feature film “Battle of the Motors.” The Auto Moto Savez Crne Gore (AMSCG) advises drivers to exercise caution, especially in areas prone to rockfalls, as conditions remain dry.

Beginning on November 5, 2025, the regional road R-1 between Krstac and Trojica will be closed from 05:00 to 19:00, with traffic allowed to pass every hour for 60 minutes. A similar schedule will apply on November 10, 2025, where vehicles will be permitted to cross every two hours during the same timeframe.

Additionally, on the main road M-2 from Petrovac to Sotonići, temporary traffic halts not exceeding 15 minutes will occur on November 10, 2025, from 09:00 to 17:00. Full road closures are also scheduled for the regional road R-23 between Bogetići and Glava Zete on November 14, 15, and 16, 2025, from 05:00 to 19:00.

Motorists should be aware that work is underway on various other routes, including the M-6 stretch from Pljevlja to Đurđevica Tara. Here, changes to traffic flow will occur, including single-lane access from 07:00 to 17:00 as road repairs are conducted.

The AMSCG further emphasizes the importance of adhering to speed limits and other traffic regulations during this period. With moderate to heavy traffic expected, it is crucial that all drivers remain vigilant.

Over the past 24 hours, there have been 22 traffic incidents in Montenegro, resulting in one fatality and several injuries, underscoring the need for caution on the roads.

For those requiring assistance, the AMSCG offers technical support services for registered vehicles in Montenegro, including roadside help and towing to nearby service stations. Their information center operates around the clock, reachable at 19807 or 020234999.

As roadworks and film production continue, motorists are encouraged to plan their journeys accordingly and remain informed about the latest traffic updates.
