British Influencer Bonnie Blue Arrested in Bali Over Adult Content

British adult content creator Bonnie Blue, whose real name is Tia Billinger, has been arrested on the Indonesian island of Bali for her involvement in producing adult films. The arrest followed a tip-off from a local expatriate concerned about community standards and the impact of such content on Bali’s reputation. The informant stated that the decision to report Blue stemmed from a desire to protect local values, indicating that the business and expat communities were opposed to her activities.

The tip-off, reported by News.com.au, detailed worries surrounding the production of content under the name “Bonnie Blue’s Gang Bang from Bali.” The informant emphasized that such material risks damaging Bali’s image as a tourist destination, saying, “We don’t want Bonnie Blue’s Gang Bang from Bali being posted and shared around the world.” The source also highlighted issues like public filming and the involvement of young participants, referred to as “schoolies,” which added to the severity of the situation.

In Indonesia, pornography is illegal, strictly regulated under the Pornography Act (Law 44 of 2008). This law prohibits the production, distribution, or public display of pornographic material and extends to content considered “immoral” or “indecent.” Authorities have confirmed that Blue and her associates allegedly used a rented villa in Pererenan Village as a filming location. During a police raid, officers confiscated professional filming equipment, contraceptives, sexual enhancement drugs, and a vehicle known as “BangBus,” which was reportedly used to transport participants.

The police operation resulted in the detention of 17 individuals, including tourists from Australia and the United Kingdom, aged between 19 and 40. Following questioning, 14 Australian men were released without charges, although their passports remain with immigration officials as they are considered witnesses. Currently, Blue, along with two British nationals, is under scrutiny as part of the ongoing investigation.

While Blue has reportedly been released from police custody, her passport has been seized, and she is now under immigration supervision. Authorities indicated that further questioning of her and various associates will take place as they analyze the evidence collected during the raid.

In terms of potential consequences, if found guilty under Indonesia’s anti-pornography law, Blue could face a prison sentence of up to 15 years and a fine reaching 6 billion rupiah (approximately £270,000).
