In a developing political scenario in Podgorica, Maša Šturanović, a member of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), has accused Jelena Borovinić Bojović and the DNP leadership of attempting to persuade party officials to maintain their positions in local government. The aim, according to Šturanović, is to ensure that Borovinić Bojović retains her role as President of the Assembly of the Capital City.

Šturanović highlighted the pressure exerted by Borovinić Bojović and the vice president of the DNP to secure loyalty among party members. She stated this tactic is primarily motivated by the desire to preserve Borovinić Bojović’s political standing.

“She demonstrated her concern for citizens when she voted for price increases, starting with a staggering 41% rise in water prices, and soon she will support a 100% increase in the cost of cleaning services,” Šturanović remarked on the social media platform X.
