Earlier in the day, prior to the banquet, Princess Kate welcomed the Trumps in a striking burgundy ensemble. Her double-breasted coat dress, designed by Emilia Wickstead, was paired with chocolate-brown suede heels from Gianvito Rossi. She completed the look with a Jane Taylor London hat featuring a bow and mesh veil, alongside a quilted Chanel flap bag.

During the state banquet, Queen Camilla also made a statement in cobalt blue, wearing a gown by Fiona Clare and a sapphire tiara that was commissioned by Queen Elizabeth II in 1963.
