Next week, the location in **Newcastle-under-Lyme** will also undergo its makeover, marking a new chapter for the brand.
As part of the refurbishment initiative, branches in **Wolstanton** and **Tunstall** are scheduled for renovations in **2025**, while additional updates for shops in **Longton**, **Shelton**, **Northwood**, **Stoke**, **Burslem**, **Fenton**, **Meir**, **Kidsgrove**, and **Chell** will follow in **2026**. The complete overhaul coincides with the company’s preparations to celebrate its centenary in **2026**.
Jason Manley, brand director of Wrights, expressed pride in the company’s roots in **Stoke-on-Trent** and emphasized the commitment to the local community. “This refresh is about making Wrights The Bakery even more relevant to today’s customers, while continuing to deliver the delicious, high-quality foods that people know and love,” he stated.
The rebranding and refurbishment are not just cosmetic changes. They represent Wrights’ strategy to rejuvenate its presence in the competitive bakery market. The goal is to attract both loyal customers and new patrons by enhancing the shopping experience while maintaining the high standards that have defined the brand for nearly a century.
As Wrights prepares for this exciting period, the upcoming centenary year promises to be filled with celebrations and events that highlight the brand’s long-standing history and contribution to the local economy. The renovations aim to create modern, inviting spaces that resonate with current trends while staying true to the bakery’s heritage.
The ongoing changes reflect a broader trend within the food industry where established brands seek to modernize and adapt to evolving customer preferences. For Wrights, this revitalization signifies not only a commitment to quality but also a forward-looking approach that encompasses the spirit of innovation and community engagement.
